Rapunzel Update

 Hey Everyone!

I have an update on Rapunzel from Heaven and Earth Designs!  Apparently, the last time I worked on this one was back in 2021!  Wow!

The photo is not the best as I used my iPad camera, plus the poor girl could use a bath…but not until I’ve finished.

Next up will be a new start—PTP Hummingbirds also from HAED.

Here is where I finished the other night:

The poor girl is in need of a wash but that will have to wait until I finish her.

Rapunzel Update

Hey Everyone!

I have a page finish on my HAED, Rapunzel (Dawe)!  Here she is:

Now she has a shoulder and, well, more hair!

Normally, I would switch to my focus piece, God Speed, but I think I'm going to work on the quilt that I'm hand quilting.  I really want to show something at our county fair in August and I think the quilt is the only item I can finish in time!

Update on Rapunzel - Christmas!

Woo hoo!

I have a page finish on Rapunzel!  She still has that haunted look but at least her face is complete now.

Next up will be La Belle Dame Sans Merci.

HAP SAL update for December

Now don't faint, not only am I posting on the correct day, I have made progress on one of my HAPs this month!

Rapunzel (Dawe) has gotten bigger!  I don't know the exact amount but I'd say that I'm close to 1/2 way done on this page (9/30).

Now that she has most of her face, she really has a haunted expression.  Makes me feel sorry for her predicament.

HAP SAL Progress Report

Boy how time does fly!  It's time once again, for the HAP SAL update.

I had to look at last month's update to figure out what I'd actually worked on since then.

I did finish that partial page on La Belle Dame.  So it went from this to this:

 

Not a huge difference, but it was progress.  Actually, that means I had a row finish!  Woo hoo!

After the partial page on La Belle Dame, my randomizer app chose Rapunzel (Dawe) as my next project.

Here she was at the beginning of the year and after the page finish I had a couple of days ago:

She now has one eye, which is great but still kind of creepy.  That means that Rapunzel has now gone from 30.3% to 35.05% done.

I did switch back to La Belle Dame a couple of days ago, but I've also been painting another piece of furniture so I've only put in a couple hundred stitches - no photo.

WIP update: Rapunzel

I've finished page 7 on Rapunzel (Dawe) from HAED.  Here is how she's looking now:

Now that that page is complete, I'm rotating back to my focus piece:  12 Days of Christmas by Teresa Wentzler.  Oh, I did remember to update the progress bar at the right.  I usually forget to do that.

I've also started working on my HAED BB SAL piece, Mystic Garden.  This is a freebie offered by HAED to their bulletin board (BB) members.  I'll be working on this during Monday Night Football games and possibly during the day when work permits (it's great being the boss!).
