Framed Needlework

This is like an appendix to the tutorials that I just posted.  I thought I'd share images of a few of the cross stitch projects that I've framed myself using the methods I've just outlined.

All of these have won at least a blue (first place) ribbon at our county fair. A couple have also won Best of Section and Best of Show.

Twilight Repose from Heaven and Earth Designs; frame and mats from

Rune Sampler from Dracolair Creations; frame and mat from

Spoiler Alert!

White Musings Mystery Sampler from Follow the Leader Designs: frame from

12 Days of Christmas from Teresa Wentzler Designworks; frame and mat from

Miss Hathaway's Garden from Pegasus Originals (Marty Bell); frame and mats from

Autumn Days (freebie pattern) from Enchanted Needle Designs; frame from Walmart; mat made from scrapbooking cardstock:

Happy Stitching!

These are absolutely beautifully framed. I am lucky as my brother in law is doing the framing for me, but reading your tutorial I might give it a try myself next time.
