I went through my impressive stash a couple of evenings ago and pulled out all the "stuff" that for one reason or another, I'll never get around to doing.
The resulting stack of books, magazines and patterns is about 1½ feet tall! Even with all that removed, my stash is still impressive. ;-)
For those of you who stitch for holidays, especially Christmas, the upcoming items for sale are for you!
I've already started creating the listings in my Etsy shop, XedStitches. I'm going to enter all my items and then start them all together. At the moment, I have 104 items listed. I don't know if this destashing will put me up to 200, but we'll see.

Update: So far, I've got 26 magazines and patterns ready to list. There are a few more of those and I haven't even started on the books!

A smallish project
Hello again!
When I received my latest issue (Nov. 2013) of Cross Stitch & Needlework, I looked through it to see if there was a project I would actually stitch. I've gotten in the habit of doing this because, if the answer is "no", then I list it for sale in my Etsy Shop.
This time, I did find a small project that I wanted to start immediately! It's called Faith, Family, Friends (FFF) and is simple but lovely. The only problem? Out of the tons of floss (okay, it's not tons but it is a lot) that I own, I didn't have any of the colors I needed! Yes, I was shocked too!
Thanks to the wonderful site 123Stitch, I ordered the threads that I needed for this new project, plus some thread and beads for another project from the same issue. Well, actually, the other project is the Christmas ornament series and it's in multiple issues. Anyway, I digress. My package arrived today...it felt almost as good as Christmas.
I was just going to head to my craft room to dig out some fabric for FFF, when I spotted the project I've been working on while watching football...Go Seahawks!!. My conscience got the better of me, which rarely happens with my WIPs, and I decided that in order to start FFF, I have to finish this other project first. (big sigh)
I'm stitching the letters of "Merry Christmas" on a large piece of fabric. When they're all done, I'll separate them and frame them individually in some adorable frames that I picked up at Michael's eons ago. So far, I have M-E-R-R done. (another big sigh) So many stitches, so little time!

Celebrate the Return...
of Victoria magazine!! I just received my first copy (the first issue) on Friday. For previous fans of the magazine, this will not disappoint! Apart from the references to the fact that it is a comeback - there is no difference from the magazine as it was before. Ah, the joy!
