Diamond Painting finish

 Hey Everyone!

Last Saturday, hubby took me to Hobby Lobby!  Yes, I could go by myself, but we were already out and about together.  I got myself 5 diamond painting kits.  I never thought I’d enjoy them after I ended up throwing away the first one I ever bought off Amazon (now, I would’ve finished it).  Thursday, I took a break from my current cross stitch ‘cause I get annoyed with doing 2x1 on 25ct. and I worked on one of the d.p. kits.  I finished it on Thursday and sealed it last night.

Isn’t it cute?!  Hubby picked this one out so I did it first. I have 3 more that are Autumn themed and 1 Christmas.

A Finish

 Hey Everyone!

I totally forgot to post about a small band sampler I finished back on June 8th.  This one is How Do I Love Thee from The Sweetheart Tree.

I have a bunch of their small patterns and this one was the one my randomizer app picked for me to do.  It only took a few days (maybe 3?) to do.  I framed it in a standard 5” x 7” picture frame.

I just got beads and a specialty thread yesterday so that I can start another one of their patterns, Shamrock Heart.

Rapunzel progress

 Hey Everyone!

Since I finished the SAL, I get to go back to my “normal” projects.  I’ve decided to make Rapunzel (Dawe) my featured project since it’s the one furthest along.  I did finish a page on it a couple of days ago.

She’s got a bit of yellowing in the white areas, but I’m fairly confident that it will wash out when I finish her.

I’m using my randomizer app to choose the in-between projects and it landed on God Speed.  This is the only HAED that I’m doing using 2 strands of floss (on 25ct)—I can say it will also be the last.  I find that I prefer 28ct and higher with 1 strand.
